The mission of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce is to serve as the principal voice of business while working to enhance both the economic environment and the quality of life for the citizens of Cape Ann. The Chamber is organized by divisions and committees, which focus on specific goals and needs: Tourist, Retail, Industrial, Contractors', Chamber Businesswomen, Government Affairs, Business / Education Collaborative, Member-based Programs.
The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce & Industry was founded and incorporated in 1966 by a group of business people who had a vision to form an organization that would be instrumental in key Newburyport urban renewal and development efforts. The new Chamber supported the multi-million-dollar restoration of downtown and its waterfront in the 70’s, which today is a bustling center of commerce. It also supported the development of three dormant farms into a flourishing industrial park that today houses close to 70 businesses that employ more than 3,000 people and boast a payroll in excess of $95 million.
The Salem Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice for member businesses, Representing, Advocating, and Working to enhance the business and civic environment. With over 600 members, we are the largest business organization in Salem.

The Fish
Box Derby Race is a family event that is held in early September. This
was established by a non-profit organization - Fish Box Derby, Inc.
whose purpose it is to provide the local youth with the opportunity to
build and strengthen family relations. Boys and Girls from ages eight to
fourteen are eligible to enter (there are no fees to enter). The young
people work side by side with their parents, grandparents, guardians or
neighbors to build their own car and participate in the race. The cars
reflect each individual style and mechanical abilities.
